About Eden Estates in Bewdley
Eden Estates have been successfully selling and renting property throughout the Wyre Forest area since 2001. During this time, we have seen significant changes in the housing market, the economy and the political landscape but our presence as a trusted, independent and local estate agent has remained constant. With a centralised office situated in the picturesque riverside town of Bewdley we have grown steadily and continue to successfully sell and let property in Bewdley, Stourport-on Severn, Kidderminster, the surrounding villages and beyond.
As a local and independent estate agent, our reputation is of the upmost importance to us. Our commitment to excellent customer care has paid dividends over the years with a significant proportion of our business coming about through personal recommendation. Everyone understands the importance of the internet these days and providing an effective online presence is essential to running a successful estate agency business but it’s not the answer to everything. The real reason that Eden Estates continues to be so successful is because of what we achieve in the office and out in the community, face to face with our customers listening to what they want and being there for them, in person, throughout the process.Local Experts
This is a phrase that is banded about a little too casually for our liking. Unlike many agents who claim to have a local expert, we have an office full of them! All our staff live locally, we know the area, we know the people. We are experienced in dealing with properties in town centres as well as the countryside and have developed a reputation for handling properties which are listed or unusual in construction. Our local knowledge has proved invaluable on so many occasions and when combined with our years of experience this makes us perfectly suited to help you in buying, selling or renting in Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourport-on-Severn.
Being independent enables us to provide a more boutique style bespoke service and our team of dedicated and hard working individuals have all been recruited on the understanding that being a good local estate agent is as much about the people as it is the property. Work never finishes at 5pm and many a deal has been struck in the supermarket on the way home, on the petrol station forecourt, in the pub of an evening, bobbing about on the river or whilst out walking the dog.National Coverage
As members of the TEAM association of estate agents we are uniquely positioned to be able to market your property across the country with multiple offices throughout the Midlands and an ever expanding London network. TEAM is the largest branded network of independent estate agents in the UK, with hundreds of members offering the very best of both worlds; all the traditional advantages of dealing with an established, independently owned local firm, backed by the marketing power and range of services that only a major nationwide chain can deliver.
About Bewdley and the surrounding areasThe Wyre Forest
The three market towns of Bewdley, Kidderminster and Stourport on Severn along with several surrounding villages make up the Wyre Forest district. Situated approximately 18 miles south west of Birmingham and 15 miles north of Worcester, the Wyre Forest is served by a good motorway network with excellent links to the M5, M6, M40 and M42. Birmingham International Airport is approximately 45 minutes away and the main line train station in Kidderminster has regular services to and from Worcester, Malvern, Birmingham and London.
The area enjoys some of the best attractions in the Midlands to include West Midland Safari and Leisure Park, the Severn Valley Railway, Go Ape High Ropes Course, Witley Court, Hartlebury Castle, Harvington Hall and both Arley and Bodenham Arboretums. To complement the many local attractions there are several interesting and lively events which take place throughout the year and across the district including steam galas, riverside festivals and regattas, open air concerts, arts festivals and family activity days.
The River Severn and the surrounding countryside and woodlands of the Wyre Forest itself provide an idyllic setting to enjoy the fresh air with plenty of trails, paths and bridleways for walking, cycling, mountain biking and horse riding, opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, rowing and boating, excellent coarse and fly fishing and several golf courses.

Once you have finished exploring all that the area has to offer and if you fancy a drink and something to eat, you are quite literally spoilt for choice with a wide selection of coffee shops, tea rooms, cafes, restaurants, pubs and hotels throughout the region.Bewdley
Situated on the banks of the River Severn and the edge of the Wyre Forest, Bewdley was once described as “the most perfect small town in Worcestershire” and was the birthplace of three times prime minister Stanley Baldwin. The town enjoys a good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants along with small independent shops, craft studios, a brewery and a local museum. www.bewdleytowncouncil.orgStourport on Severn
Set on the banks of the River Severn, Stourport on Severn is a lively town that was developed with the building of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal in 1771, soon becoming the busiest inland port in the Midlands after Birmingham. Nowadays, the canal basins and locks provide an attractive setting to enjoy a wide range of events and activities. Away from the riverside is a busy shopping area and a good variety of pubs, restaurants and cafes. www.stourporttown.co.ukKidderminster
The largest of the three towns in the district, Kidderminster was made famous for its quality woven carpets and as the birthplace of Sir Rowland Hill, the founder of the Penny Post. Home to the Kidderminster Harriers football team, Kidderminster is also the main retail hub for the district with many well known High Street names to be found between the town centre, Crossley Retail Park and Weaver’s Wharf, which offers a shopping experience set around the beautifully restored Slingfield Mill. http://www.wyreforestdc.gov.uk/things-to-see-do-and-visit.aspx
